Payment by bank transfer is far more convenient for us than payment by cheque. Please use your surname as the reference. If you are unable to renew your membership before the end of August there is likely to be a delay in your receiving confirmation.

Under Discussion
The set up in the refurbished Corn Exchange will be very different to the way it was when we last had coffee concerts there. As a result, it is not known at this stage whether free interval drinks for Strings Attached members will be feasible. We are working on various options with Brighton Dome colleagues and will update you as our discussions evolve.

We are also in discussion with colleagues at the Brighton Dome about negotiating a car park deal and will provide further information in a later newsletter.

PEOPLE
It is with great sadness that we have to report the death of Michael Wilkinson. He was a member of Strings Attached for several years and as an experienced music critic wrote reviews of the Coffee Concerts from October 2021. His knowledge of musical performance was highly appreciated and his reviews valued by players and audiences alike. We send our condolences to his wife and family.

We would also like to thank David Botibol for his unstinting management of the Strings Attached website. David responds efficiently and without a murmur of complaint to the requests of the more technically challenged members of the Strings Attached committee. This summer we reviewed the structure of the website, and hope you will find it easier to use. Please have a look https://www.stringsattachedmusic.org.uk/
