This is a brief note to let you know the dates of the Coffee Concerts for the 2023-2024 season and to confirm that we will be back in the refurbished Corn Exchange for the entire season. The dates are:

22/10 /23
10/12 23
24/3/24  and an additional 7th concert

As soon as we have details of performance and repertoire we will pass the information on to you.


22 April Glynde Place Concert Series begins. See below
23 April Seaford Music Society, Family Concert: Dream Haven, a story concert for children and adults
14 May Seaford Music Society, guitarist Craig Ogden playing works by Bach, Coste, Scarlatti, Rodrigo, Sinesi and Villa-Lobos

The Glynde Place Concert Series, started in 2014 to bring musicians from the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists’ scheme to Sussex, begins on April 22. Details are available at

The Brighton Festival begins on 6 May and has much to tempt lovers of chamber music, including some splendid lunchtime concerts and a performance by the Takács Quartet at Glyndbourne on Sunday, 7 May. Tickets on sale from the Brighton Dome box office (01273 709709).

Lunchtime concerts continue at the Chapel Royal and Unitarian churches in Brighton as do early afternoon concerts at St Nicholas Church, Brighton.

The directory lists local amateur chamber musicians and is designed to help amateur chamber music players make contact with each other, be they string, piano or wind players.
