Booking information
The cost of tickets is the same as last year: £18.50 and £16.50 for concessions. The Cavatina scheme, which gives free tickets for those aged 8 – 25, will operate.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available on the day. There is a £2.50 charge per order for online and for telephone bookings, although this is waived for Brighton Dome members.
Seating. Those choosing to sit in the cabaret-style stalls seating will receive one ticket for 2 people, who must be from the same household or bubble. The conventional seating in the rear stalls will also be socially distanced by household or bubble but each household can be from 1 to 4 people.
Safety information. Click on the heading ‘Your Visit’ on the Brighton Dome website and learn about the extensive safety measures that will be in place. Masks will be worn throughout except when eating or drinking. There is only one issue that might need explaining; the concept of “fogging”. This is the spraying of a fine anti-viral spray over the entire auditorium in the hours before an event. It renders both smooth surfaces and upholstery Covid-free.
The concert itself. There will be no interval, just a short toilet break before the final piece. The bar/café will not be open during this break. We understand that coffee prior to the concert may be pre-ordered. Programme notes will be placed on seats before the concert. These measures are all designed to reduce the danger of queues in a crowded foyer.
NCP car park deal. It is expected that the £6.50 matinee discounted car park charge will be available. We shall confirm this in a future email.
